Taj Mahal, Agra
Situated on the banks of the shimmering Yamuna
river in the former Mughal capital of Agra, Taj Mahal can be ideally summed
up as visual poetry in snow white marble. Built by emperor Shah Jahan in the
memory of his wife Mumtaz, it is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the
most visited monuments on the planet, that has fascinated tourists and
travellers for centuries.
Varanasi
One of the holiest Hindu cities, Varanasi is

corner. Situated in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a dip here in
